Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 45 paise to Rs 245.70 per kg on Monday, driven by increased speculator activity and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jan 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 45 paise to Rs 245.70 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February increased 45 paise or 0.18 per cent to Rs 245.70 per kg in 1,144 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
