New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices rose by 55 paise to Rs 347.35 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in August edged up by 55 paise, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 347.35 per kg in 329 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
