Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets
Aluminium futures prices rose in India''s Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries and fresh bets by speculators.

New Delhi, Jan 2 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.25 to Rs 242.95 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased Rs 1.25 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 242.95 per kg in 3,434 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
