Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets

Aluminium futures prices increased by Rs 40 to Rs 243.80 per kg on Friday, driven by speculators and positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, Jun 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose Rs 40 to Rs 243.80 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July increased Rs 40 or 0.16 per cent to Rs 243.80 per kg in 1,338 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
