Aluminium prices rise in futures trade on fresh bets. May delivery up 1.34% to Rs 375.10/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose nearly 1.34 per cent to Rs 375.10 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 4.95, or 1.34 per cent, to Rs 375.10 per kilogram in 147 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
