Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculator Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 5 paise to Rs 246.05 per kg on Thursday, driven by fresh positions from speculators and strong demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 5 paise to Rs 246.05 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December increased 5 paise or 0.02 per cent to Rs 246.05 per kg in 3,799 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
