Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculator Bets

Aluminium futures climbed 1.5% on Tuesday, reaching Rs 233.25 per kg, driven by speculator bets and positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, Sep 24 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday climbed 1.5 per cent to Rs 233.25 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for October delivery increased Rs 3.45 or 1.5 per cent to Rs 233.25 per kg in a business turnover of 3,254 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
