Aluminium Futures Surge on Fresh Bets
Aluminium prices rose in India's futures market on Friday, driven by increased demand from consuming industries and positive trends in the spot market.
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose Rs 1.45 to Rs 255.45 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased Rs 1.45 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 255.45 per kg in 2,081 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
