Aluminium Prices Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium futures decline due to weak spot market trend and reduced demand from consuming industries. September contract falls on MCX.

New Delhi, Aug 25 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 10 paise to Rs 253 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September fell 10 paise or 0.04 per cent to Rs 253 per kg in 2,610 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
