Aptus Value Housing Finance Q1 Profit Rises 19% to Rs 261 Cr

Aptus Value Housing Finance reports 19% Q1 profit growth to Rs 261 cr. Total income rose to Rs 611 cr, AUM up 21% to Rs 13,648 cr. NPAs slightly increased.
New Delhi, Jul 31 (PTI) Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd on Friday reported a 19 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 261 crore for the first quarter ended June 2026.

The mortgage company had earned a net profit of Rs 219 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's total income rose to Rs 611 crore against Rs 530 crore in the year-ago period, Aptus Value Housing Finance said in a regulatory filing.

During the quarter, interest income improved to Rs 529 crore against Rs 470 crore in Q1 FY26.


Total expenses during the period under review grew to Rs 282 crore from Rs 245 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

The company's Assets Under Management (AUM) increased by 21 per cent to Rs 13,648 crore, compared to Rs 11,267 crore at the end of the first quarter of the preceding fiscal.

On the asset quality front, the company witnessed a slight increase in delinquency with gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) rising to 1.7 per cent of the total advances, compared to 1.5 per cent at the end of Q1 FY26.

Similarly, Net NPAs increased to 1.3 per cent in the June quarter against 1.1 per cent in the year-ago quarter.

Commenting on quarterly numbers, Aptus Value Housing Finance India MD P Balaji said, "Our AUM grew 21 per cent to Rs 13,648 crore, driven by strong disbursements of Rs 1,053 crore, reflecting healthy growth. In line with our strategy of onboarding higher-quality customers, our decision to discontinue sanctions below Rs 7 lakh loans last year is yielding encouraging results."
