New Delhi, Mar 30 (PTI) Gujarat-headquartered embedded electronics and power systems startup Bacancy Systems has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by private equity investment firm Sabre Partners and growth equity fund Greenstone Capital.

Both investors have acquired minority stakes in the company through primary investments, the company said in a statement.

The fresh capital will be deployed to scale up manufacturing capabilities, accelerate product development, deepen research and development (R&D), and expand into international markets.

Founded in 2021, Bacancy Systems deals in hardware, firmware, and cloud technologies. The company primarily caters to Electric Vehicle (EV) original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and charging infrastructure players, with a strong focus on DC charger controllers.

Alongside its EV portfolio, the company is expanding into the railway electronics segment.
