Bharti Hexacom Q4 Profit Down, Revenue Up

Bharti Hexacom reports Q4 profit decline of 4.6% to Rs 446.7 cr, but revenue rises 5.4% to Rs 2,414 cr. FY26 profit & revenue also up.
New Delhi, May 13 (PTI) Telecom operator Bharti Hexacom, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, on Wednesday reported a 4.6 per cent decline in profit to Rs 446.7 crore in the March quarter, weighed down by government levies.
The company had posted a profit of about Rs 468.4 crore in the same period a year ago.
The company accounted for a charge of Rs 24.6 crore during the quarter under review.
In a regulatory filing, the firm stated that the charge -- which relates to government-mandated fees or duties -- was partially offset by a Rs 5.5-crore tax benefit. The net impact of this adjustment on the company's bottom line for the quarter, hence, stands at Rs 19.1 crore, it said.
The company's revenue from operations increased 5.4 per cent to Rs 2,413.7 crore in Q4, as compared to Rs 2,289 crore in Q4 FY25.
Seen sequentially, Bharti Hexacom's profit fell 5.7 per cent while revenue rose 2.3 per cent.
"Mobile revenues increased 3.8 per cent YoY, driven by our sustained focus on enhancing our portfolio mix and attracting high-value customers. ARPU came in at Rs 252 up from Rs 242 in Q4, FY25. Mobile data traffic for the quarter was 2,203 PBs representing a YoY increase of 30.9 per cent," the company said in a statement.
For the full fiscal year of 2025-26, the company's profit stood 16 per cent higher at Rs 1,733.2 crore, as against Rs 1,493.6 crore in the preceding fiscal year.
FY26 revenue came in at Rs 9,353.8 crore, a 9.4 per cent climb from Rs 8,547.9 in FY25.
Bharti Hexacom said its smartphone data customer base expanded 1.2 million over the past year, a year-on-year increase of 5.8 per cent.
