BVG India Wins Indore ISBT O&M Mandate
New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Integrated services company BVG India Ltd on Wednesday said it has been awarded the lease-cum-operation & maintenance (O&M) mandate for the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

In a statement, the company said ISBT Kumedi, spread across 5.85 hectares (14.46 acres), has the capacity to handle over 1,500 buses and approximately 50,000–55,000 passengers and visitors every day, serving as a key gateway connecting Madhya Pradesh with Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi and neighbouring states.

Designed as an airport-grade multimodal transport hub, ISBT Kumedi seamlessly integrates bus, metro and railway connectivity, the statement added.


Commenting on the development, Rupal Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, BVG India, said, "India is witnessing a fundamental transformation in public mobility."
