CII Jharkhand delegation meets CM Hemant Soren to discuss industry priorities, investment, EV ecosystem, and tribal entrepreneurship.

Jamshedpur, May 19 (PTI) A delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand on Tuesday met Chief Minister Hemant Soren to discuss key industry and development priorities for the state.
The delegation, led by CII Jharkhand Chairman Diloo Parikh, appreciated the government's proactive efforts in positioning the state as an emerging investment destination and enhancing investor confidence, according to a statement issued by the association.
During the meeting held at Ranchi, the CII delegation congratulated Soren on the successful Davos visit, attracting investment.
The discussions also focused on the upcoming Industrial Policy of Jharkhand.
CII expressed its keen interest in partnering with the government in the formulation of the new policy framework and shared its willingness to provide industry recommendations and sectoral inputs to make the policy more industry-friendly, future-ready, and growth-oriented, the statement said.
The delegation highlighted that CII would be pleased to play an active role as a knowledge and industry partner in the policy development process.
Another important area of discussion was strengthening the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem in the state.
Deliberations were held on creating a more vibrant EV ecosystem through enabling policies, infrastructure development, industry participation, and promotion of sustainable mobility solutions in Jharkhand.
The meeting also emphasised the importance of promoting tribal entrepreneurship in the state.
CII and the Jharkhand government discussed opportunities for collaborative initiatives aimed at encouraging tribal entrepreneurs through skill development, market linkages, enterprise support, and capacity-building programmes.
