Copper Futures Decline on MCX Amid Muted Demand

Copper futures on MCX saw a marginal decline of Rs 2.90 per kg. Muted demand in the domestic spot market and from consuming industries weighed on prices.
New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) Copper prices fell marginally by Rs 2.90 to Rs 1,309 per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday amid muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the copper contract for July delivery slipped Rs 2.90, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 1,390 per kg in 2,491 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on the red metal prices in futures trade.
