Copper futures fell 0.54% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand and position trimming by speculators. Learn more about the latest copper market trends.
New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell 0.54 per cent to Rs 797.05 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased by Rs 4.35 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 797.05 per kg in a business turnover of 11,298 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
