Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.75% to Rs 838 per kg on Thursday due to weak demand and position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.75 per cent to Rs 838 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 6.35 or 0.75 per cent to Rs 838 per kg in a business turnover of 4,748 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
