Copper futures fell 0.15% on Monday to Rs 867.25 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand and position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Oct 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.15 per cent to Rs 867.25 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 1.30 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 867.25 per kg in a business turnover of 2,040 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
