Copper futures fell 0.22% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand and position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.22 per cent to Rs 820.80 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 1.85 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 820.80 per kg in a business turnover of 5,577 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
