Copper Futures Drop on Weak Demand | PTI

Copper futures declined 1.28% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to muted demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to the price drop.
New Delhi, Nov 12 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell 1.28 per cent to Rs 818.45 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 10.60 or 1.28 per cent to Rs 818.45 per kg in a business turnover of 4,611 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
