New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Copper prices fell by Rs 1.35 to Rs 1,374.50 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday amid muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the copper contract for August delivery slipped Rs 1.35, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 1,374.50 per kg in 3,177 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on the red metal prices in futures trade.
