Copper Futures Fall on Muted Demand in India (MCX)

Copper futures prices dropped by Rs 7.30 to Rs 1,286.30 per kg on MCX due to subdued domestic demand from consuming industries in India.
New Delhi, Jul 13 (PTI) Copper prices fell by Rs 7.30 to Rs 1,286.30 per kilogram in futures trade on Monday amid muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the copper contract for July delivery slipped Rs 7.30, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 1,286.30 per kg in 1,525 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on the red metal prices in futures trade.
