Copper futures prices declined on Wednesday due to reduced demand in the Indian market. Speculators cut their positions, leading to the price drop.
New Delhi, Aug 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.86 per cent to Rs 812.05 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased by Rs 7.05 or 0.86 per cent to Rs 812.05 per kg in a business turnover of 10,184 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
