Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures declined 0.35% to Rs 886.40 per kg due to weak domestic demand and reduced participant positions. Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw a turnover of 4,009 lots.
New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.35 per cent to Rs 886.40 per kilogram, as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery eased Rs 3.10, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 886.40 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,009 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
