Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures decline on MCX due to muted domestic demand. November contract eases to Rs 1,015/kg. Analysts cite reduced participant positions.
New Delhi, Oct 30 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell Rs 6.40 to Rs 1,015 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the November contract eased by Rs 6.40 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 1,015 per kilogram in a business turnover of 8,589 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
