Copper futures decline Rs 17.20 to Rs 1,087.55/kg on MCX due to muted domestic demand and reduced positions. Analysts cite lower bets.
New Delhi, Dec 9 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell Rs 17.20 to Rs 1,087.55 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the January contract eased by Rs 17.20 or 1.56 per cent to Rs 1,087.55 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,907 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
