Copper futures decline on MCX due to muted domestic demand. January contract eases to Rs 1,121.95/kg. Analysts cite lower participant bets.
New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell Rs 1.95 to Rs 1,121.95 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the January contract eased by Rs 1.95 or 0.17 per cent to Rs 1,121.95 per kilogram in a business turnover of 5,898 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
