Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures decline on MCX due to reduced positions and muted domestic demand. February contract at Rs 1,322/kg.
New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell Rs 9.70 to Rs 1,322 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the February contract eased by Rs 9.70 or 0.73 per cent to Rs 1,322 per kilogram in a business turnover of 7,432 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
