Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose on Thursday, driven by higher spot demand. Traders increased their bets, pushing prices up by 0.7 percent.
New Delhi, Sep 26 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose Rs 5.90 to Rs 846.55 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 5.90 or 0.7 per cent at Rs 846.55 per kg in a business turnover of 8,224 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
