Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures gained 0.3% on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts cited rising bets by participants as a factor.
New Delhi, Jan 9 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 0.3 per cent to Rs 829.30 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 2.50 or 0.3 per cent to Rs 829.30 per kg in a business turnover of 1,770 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
