Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Copper futures prices increased on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to higher spot demand and increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Nov 29 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.26 per cent to Rs 809.50 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery increased by Rs 2.10 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 809.50 per kg in a business turnover of 8,086 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
