Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gained 0.58% on Friday, driven by increased spot demand. The rise is attributed to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.58 per cent to Rs 837.20 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 4.85 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 837.20 per kg in a business turnover of 4,778 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
