Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gained 0.32% to Rs 871 per kg on Friday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts cited higher bets from participants as a contributing factor to the price surge.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.32 per cent to Rs 871 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery climbed Rs 2.80 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 871 per kg in a business turnover of 4,521 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
