Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose on Thursday due to increased spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 12 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 0.64 per cent to Rs 834.85 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery climbed Rs 5.30 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 834.85 per kg in a business turnover of 5,380 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
