Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange gained 0.14% to Rs 800.75 per kg due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 3 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.14 per cent to Rs 800.75 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 1.15 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 800.75 per kg in a business turnover of 1,050 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
