Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 0.19% to Rs 832.50 per kg on Monday due to increased spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 13 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday rose 0.19 per cent to Rs 832.50 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 1.60 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 832.50 per kg in a business turnover of 2,348 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
