Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange gained 0.21% to Rs 841 per kg on Friday, driven by increased spot demand and rising bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.21 per cent to Rs 841 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 1.80 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 841 per kg in a business turnover of 3,592 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
