Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose on Monday due to increased spot demand, with analysts attributing the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Mar 3 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday rose marginally by Rs 2 to Rs 865.15 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 2 or 0.23 per cent to Rs 865.15 per kg in a business turnover of 823 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
