Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures prices increased by 0.42% to Rs 893 per kg on July 8th, driven by stronger spot demand. Higher participant bets also contributed to the rise.
New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.42 per cent to Rs 893 per kilogram on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery grew Rs 3.70 or 0.42 per cent to Rs 893 per kg in a business turnover of 7,957 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
