Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures prices increased by 0.16% to Rs 890.45 per kg due to strong spot demand. Higher bets by participants also contributed to the rise.
New Delhi, Jul 14 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.16 per cent to Rs 890.45 per kilogram on Monday due to higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery grew Rs 1.45, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 890 per kg in a business turnover of 3,004 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
