New Delhi, Oct 15 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.49 per cent to Rs 1,003.80 per kilogram on Wednesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 4.90 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 1,003.80 per kg in a business turnover of 4,646 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
