Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand - MCX

Copper futures marginally increased to Rs 1,334.95/kg on MCX due to higher spot demand. February contracts saw a slight gain.
New Delhi, Jan 13 (PTI) Copper futures marginally rose by Rs 2 to Rs 1,334.95 per kg on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery grew marginally by Rs 2, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 1,334.95 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,326 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
