Copper futures edged higher on MCX due to increased spot demand. February contracts saw a slight gain. Learn more!
New Delhi, Jan 27 (PTI) Copper futures marginally rose by Rs 1.60 to Rs 1,318.10 per kg on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery grew marginally by Rs 1.60, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 1,318.10 per kilogram in a business turnover of 13,732 lots.


Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants. PTI DR DR BAL
