Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand | PTI
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange surged 0.82% to Rs 860.35 per kg on Friday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to higher bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday rose 0.82 per cent to Rs 860.35 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery climbed Rs 7 or 0.82 per cent to Rs 860.35 per kg in a business turnover of 1,505 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
