Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.16% to Rs 885.65/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. September contracts saw growth. Analysts cite higher bets.
New Delhi, Aug 4 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.16 per cent to Rs 885.65 per kilogram on Monday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery grew Rs 1.45 or 0.16 per cent to Rs 885.65 per kg in a business turnover of 1,206 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
