Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.22% to Rs 914.35/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite higher participant bets as the reason.
New Delhi, Sep 22 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.22 per cent to Rs 914.35 per kilogram on Monday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery grew Rs 2 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 914.35 per kg in a business turnover of 4,922 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
