Copper futures climbed 1.82% to Rs 980.10/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and higher participant bets. November delivery up.
New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Copper futures rose 1.82 per cent to Rs 980.10 per kilogram on Friday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 17.50, or 1.82 per cent, to Rs 980.10 per kg in a business turnover of 1,088 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
