Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures gained 0.59% to Rs 1,001/kg on higher spot demand. November contracts rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Oct 7 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.59 per cent to Rs 1,001 per kilogram on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 5.85 or 0.59 per cent to Rs 1,001 per kg in a business turnover of 1,763 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
