Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.72% to Rs 1,004.15/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite higher participant bets.
New Delhi, Oct 24 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.72 per cent to Rs 1,004.15 per kilogram on Friday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 7.15 or 0.72 per cent to Rs 1,004.15 per kg in a business turnover of 6,925 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
