Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 0.54% to Rs 1,060.80/kg on increased spot demand. January contracts saw growth on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 3 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.54 per cent to Rs 1,060.80 per kilogram on Wednesday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery grew Rs 5.70 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 1,060.80 per kg in a business turnover of 1,373 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
